Who Are We?
Ondokuz Mayıs University Havza Vocational School has achieved considerable success since its inception, thanks to its academics who contribute to the updating of academic knowledge and the shaping of theory on the international stage, its suitable physical infrastructure, its administrative and cultural climate that supports innovation, and its conscientious students.
Founded in 1993, our school, staffed by two professors, two assistant professors, and 19 instructors, enrolls 1,140 students.
What Are Our Academic Vision and Qualifications?
Our school implements a 3+1 education model, meeting the practical needs of our students and meeting the sector's need for qualified personnel equipped with knowledge. Our facilities include a Computer Application Hall, a Physiotherapy Program Application Hall, an Occupational Health and Safety Program Application Hall, a Tourism and Hotel Management Program Application Hall, and an Office Management and Executive Assistant Program Application Hall. The fully equipped and improved equipment of the relevant units ensures that our college provides the most effective educational opportunities for our students.
What Have Our Students Achieved Through Which Facilities?
Our college collaborates with the Havza Public Education Center to offer various courses (first aid, assistant cook, cake making, computer operation, etc.). Additionally, students receive hands-on training at the Havza Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Center. We collaborate with the Havza Chamber of Commerce and Industry on various topics related to the Organized Industrial Zone. A protocol has been signed with the Samsun Metropolitan Municipality for the 3+1 workplace training of our Civil Defense Firefighting Program students.
What Are Our Programs and the Job Opportunities They Offer?
Thanks to the skills they acquire at our college, our students are employed in private and public institutions such as private hospitals, sales and marketing firms, tourism companies, and similar private sector organizations, universities, and ministries.
